who we are:

Hi! We’re Brooke and Sean Limbach — a husband-and-wife team, proud parents of twin boys, and firm believers that the right home can shape your family’s story in the best way possible.

Our journey really began in 2020 when Sean bought his first fixer-upper — a project that turned into a successful flip and eventually helped us purchase our current family home. In 2022, with our twin boys just six months old, Brooke took a leap of faith and launched Salt and Linen, turning her lifelong passion for interior design into a growing business. Then in 2024, we found our next big adventure: a fixer-upper that we’ve been lovingly transforming into a home that reflects who we are as a family. Through every step, we've learned that building something meaningful takes time, vision, and a whole lot of heart — and that’s exactly what we bring to the families we work with.

Brooke Limbach | Designer
As a mom and designer, Brooke understands the importance of balancing beauty with real life. Her approach is warm, intentional, and family-focused — helping you create spaces that not only look great but also function effortlessly for your everyday routines. Whether you’re staging a home to sell or reimagining a new one, she brings thoughtful design that makes a house feel like home.

Sean Limbach | Realtor
Sean approaches real estate with the same care and dedication he brings to his own family. He listens closely to what matters most to you, guiding you through each step with patience, honesty, and deep knowledge of the local market. His goal isn’t just to find you a house — it’s to help your family find a place where you can truly thrive.

Together, we combine design and real estate expertise to offer a personalized, family-first experience. We’re not just here to help you find a house — we’re here to help you create a home where your kids will create memories within those walls and one day, tell stories about it to their own families.

Our Approach:
At Salt and Linen, our design approach is all about real life — the quiet, the chaotic, and everything in between. We believe a beautiful home should work for your everyday moments: slow mornings with coffee in hand, dinner parties filled with laughter (and little feet running around), and cozy movie nights curled up with family.

Rooted in the warmth and character of Northwest design, we create spaces that feel lived-in, loved, and uniquely yours. Because no matter the season of life you're in, you deserve a home that feels just right.

So, why the name Salt & Linen?

Salt: Inspired by the ocean, which connects cultures, history, and traditions, salt symbolizes the unity of the sea. It also reflects our passion for food, cooking, and hosting, elevating every recipe and gathering with its essential touch.

Linen: A timeless fabric that brings serenity and elegance to any room, linen embodies comfort and sophistication. It’s a reminder that true style is effortless and enduring.

Together, Salt & Linen is about living fully, beautifully, and intentionally
